So, … a bit about me
I’m originally from Oberhausen, an industrial city in the Ruhr Valley area of Germany. After 22 years in London, I moved to Brisbane, Australia, in late 2022 with my husband and 2 children.
I studied Graphic Design & Visuelle Communication at the University of Applied Science in Düsseldorf and gained 2 years of work experience at Koob & Partner in Mülheim a. d. Ruhr before I decided to move to London in 2000 to continue my career.
There I worked for the internationally renowned studio Stylorouge before joining Small Japanese Soldier and then Cog Design, where I focussed on print design for the music, art and cultural industries.
In early 2008 I decided to become a freelance designer, in order to have the ability to work on a wider variety of projects. This was through either individual clients or on behalf of other design studios and working as an individual or as part of a team. Since then I have worked on a wide range of small and large-scale print projects, from exhibition design, to brand identities, marketing campaigns and in-house design as well as various websites.
Companies I have worked for as freelance, and thoroughly enjoyed, are: BASCA (The British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors), BFI (British Film Institute), Cog Design, LGA (Laing Gale & Associates), London Transport Museum, Now Interact, ORC International, Patrick Hughes, PokerStars, Pugatch Consilium, Rolling Stone Coaching, Royal Academy of Dance, Royal Museums Greenwich, Saentys, Serious, Strength London, Spring Creative, Thinkfarm, Trimedia Harrison Cowly, TVC Group and World Circuit Records.
I always strive for the highest quality and creative initiative in what I do and I like new challenges. I’m able to work under pressure and to deadlines and I’m available for short or long-term contracts.
When I’m not working I can be found generally enjoying the outdoors with my family and friends.
If you think I can help you … get in touch.
